DEAN WILSON
Dean Wilson has been plagued with unfortunate circumstance in the last few years. After hav-
ing a team fall through in 2013, Dean has bounced around from team to team but seems to have
finally found a home with Red Bull/KTM. Unfortunately for everyone, he has also been bouncing off the dirt and no one wants to see that. Dean is very good for the sport and has been doing everything he can to put in the results, but nagging in- juries have been taking him out of the running more times than not. This year Dean showed great speed and was proving that he was back to run with the top guys in the premier class. Unfortunately, it didn’t last long as he injured his knee for the second time in a year and would have to undergo surgery. Wilson’s doctor, Dr. Claes, had a groundbreaking discovery of a fifth knee ligament, which coincidentally was the problem for Dean’s unstable knee. They flew to Belgium, not once, but twice, to have it operated on. Now, it looks as though Dean is finally recovering well and should be back soon. Look for Dean to come back when he is 100% this summer.
