VANN MARTIN
Vann Martin, like many of the riders on the line today, is chasing his dreams. Vann isn’t afraid to build his own bikes and he will do whatever it takes to be on the line each week. This year, Vann has raced a few 450 races but some nasty crashes have left him without the results he was looking for. Vann raced his self-built 250 in the 450 class at Arlington and he surprised many as he easily qualified for the night program. Vann made his first Main Event of his career a few weeks at the rough and tough Daytona track. This was only Martin’s 6th Supercross race ever and he is hungry for more. Vann has been stricken with injury more times than not in his short career but that unfortunately is part of the sport. The 2011 Loretta Lynn Champion definitely has what it takes to run with the big boys. He needs to build experience, which in turn will build his confidence and should be getting faster each week. He is now healthy and will be looking to get into the Main Event at St. Louis.
