Vann had a good start to his Saturday morning in St. Louis. He qualified in the B division in 2nd place, which made for 23rd overall. He would go into the day program with confidence and ready to make another Main. Vann made some contact with another rider in the start of 250 Heat 2 and had his work cut out for him if he wanted to get into the Main. He was only able to salvage 12th place and would go on to the LCQ. In Vann’s last chance to qualify, he wasn’t able to get a good start and was not making it easy for himself. By lap 2, he was listed in 11th place and his chances were looking slim. Unfortunately, he was not able to make it into the Main in St. Louis. What some people do not realize is that Vann has about as much experience as a rookie as he has only competed in less than ten Supercross races total. Experience is gained only by racing and Vann is soaking it all in. Look for him to bust into his 2nd Main of the season next weekend.
