With his residency listed as Holliday, Texas, you may think Easten and crew do nothing but party 24/7. Although they love to celebrate and be festive, the family has a work ethic that’s unrivaled within their surroundings. Up all night working on bikes, preparing Easten for the battles of next day, they came into the 2018 MotoPlayground Race as confident as ever. They knew how much effort was placed into getting them into the grounds, and once they’d found their parking spot, it was truly a flip of the switch and into race mode. The bike had been crisply tuned, his gear ironed and pressed to the T, and both machine and body were fueled with optimum pre race formula. He came to the starting gate with his boots ready for a kicking, and that’s exactly what he delivered. Fourth place off the line to begin the moto, he was absolutely pinned down the opening few straightaways, and under the “Grit Moto” catwalk on the first side of the start. The chassis was swapping side to side at times, and you could truly hear the clinging of his suspension throughout this ginormous amount of chop that littered the course. Hanging on to fourth, his position would be bumped to third after the race had settled and scoring was
