all over the Cobra machine of Hummel, leading the orange brigade with all types of enthusiasm. Dipping into sub two minute laptimes, he took the notch a bit further, and clicked off a remarkable one minute, fifty-seven second circuit time on lap three! It would propel him past Hummel, throwing a little bit of roost to his competitor’s way in the meantime. He would solidify his result with one more quick circuit to cement the race, and when crossing the finish line, he actually had a bit of breathing room (much to his delight, reassuring himself at just how fast he was going). Fans and sponsors alike couldn’t have been happier with his performance, making the trip there that much more satisfying; so Clarke and crew would go home ecstatic.

The number 723 of Landon Gibson came into this national looking to as- sert himself as a top dog, and top tier in a class extremely full of highly sought after competitors and prospects. His times throughout practices were reas- suring, and his technique was some of the smoothest out there, never once miscalculating or over jumping some of these hefty leaps on the track. But, like many other true competitors, he would excel and turn the heat up once the gate would actually fall. Gibson, placed in the ultra competitive heat two, saw he, Clarke, and Nathan Hummel all in a
