Chad Reed is the master of turning bad days around. After a hard crash in last weekends race, round eleven of the Monster Energy Supercross series started off slow as he had to qualify
through the semi for the main event. Always stepping up his game when it truly matters, Chad
got off to a great start and put himself in a top 10 position early in the main event. Working his way up to 5th place by the end of lap six, Chad found himself in a battle with BTO Sports KTM’s Justin Brayton. The two were enjoying Detroit’s very long whoop section as they’re both known to be outstanding in the whoops. Brayton would eventually hand 4th place to Reed after getting a flat tire and having to pull into the mechanics area. The past few weekends have been rough for Chad Reed, but he has certainly turned the momentum back around after a solid 4th place overall in Detroit.
