MARTIN DAVALOS
Martin Davalos has had a rough career to say the least. With three wins and so many podiums, surprisingly enough, he has not won a championship in his 11 years of pro racing. Martin has been very close so many times but injury, illness, and most of all, crashes, has
kept him from the top spot at the end of a season. Unfortunately Davalos’ 2016 season has already took
a turn for the worst as he had to miss round 3 of East Coast racing in Toronto due to personal issues. Coming off his third career win at Atlanta and a podium finish at Daytona, missing the third round was probably a hard pill to swallow for the Husqvarna rider. This week, Davalos will be back for racing and he will be ready to make up for the lost points. Martin Davalos is no doubt one of the fastest riders each year, and this year it is no different. He usually finds himself near the front every time he’s on the track, whether it be qualifying, heat races, or Mains. The #49 should be ready to do battle in Detroit.
