KEN ROCZEN
Ken Roczen is winning convincingly week in and week out despite having a massive target on his back. The German born rider has been absolutely dominant this season winning nearly every moto with his only blemish coming from some blown air forks while leading late in the second moto at Glen Helen. Each week he seems
to only be getting stronger and distancing himself further from the competition. This type of domination is just what the doctor ordered for Roczen after a subpar title defense season last year. He just never really gelled with the bike until the last few rounds and the season was chalked up as a disappointment. Roczen was severely dissatisfied with how the season went and put in serious work throughout the offseason to better his already premium physical condition and his chemistry with his machine. We are all now seeing the effects of that work and it is sure entertaining to watch. His aggression early in the motos is unparalleled as he slices his way into the
lead and builds sizable leads only to put it into cruise control and stabilize those gaps to the finish. We will all be watching to see if his
dominance continues this weekend at Southwick.
