THE PULSE • ISSUE THREE
With the full power unleashed and the throttle wicked, the Ducati Panigale V4 is one of the most frighteningly fast production motorcycles currently on the market; therefore, it was im- perative that it found a way to raise the bar in vehicle safety. The new state-of-the-art elec- tronics package maximises the potential offered by Bosch’s six-axis inertial platform. Intro- ducing original controls such as controlled slides during braking, ABS cornering that acts on the front brake to assist in trail braking (specifically designed for track riding), and Quickshift Up & Down with a strategy that takes the lean angle into account -- the Italian manufacturer is doing their part to provide maximum enjoyment for the rider, no matter the skill level.
Ducati did their best to capture the essence of sport motorcycling with the Panigale V4 and it’s clear after taking one gander at the bike that they did a bang-on job. Redefined design, a new engine, state-of-the-art chassis, and innovative electronics -- a mixture of classic Ducati style and meticulous attention to detail with the latest technological gizmos and MotoGP performance. It wouldn’t be a Ducati if it didn’t blow the doors off of the showroom. Elegance is something that has been historically synonymous with Italy and Ducati has always offered nothing less in their production motorcycles. Sleek and bold geometry with a muscular, brut- ish body have integrated the idea of power and functionality into one beast of a motorcycle.
