Pay very close attention to the names in classes such as these. As many years and decades ago, some of the brightest names in
our sport made their way through these divisions. Who knows, in twenty years, the picture of Roxyn Rinehart could be placed along the wall of fame, besides the greats that have preceded him. There was quite the battle in the first moto, as Roxyn was just behind Ryder Darrigo, but moving into the lead on lap number two. He then had Austin Meads to deal with
as the laps went on. Meads, now running an almost identical laptime to RineHart was closing up to the back of his rear fender. Rinehart was just not going to fold however; he was hitting every rut in sight, with professional like style, keep- ing the bike rolling at all times. It would pay off, as he would come across the checkered flag first, to begin the week strong. It was a battle of the R’s again for round number two, as Darrigo and Rine- hart pushed into an early dual. Rinehart felt the pressure of Ryder throughout the entire duration, but never took his eyes off the prize. Sweeping the outsides in selected turns, he was being smart to avoid the biggest chop, and stay on the throttle. It was techniques like these, which propelled him to yet another victory. Let’s add another wrench into the equation, shall we? A rider by the name of Aiden Biersteker took the lead from Rinehart on lap three of this moto, as a mistake would push Roxyn
to fourth. Fighting his way back to the top, with an unrivaled spirit, Rinehart would inch just to the
tire tread of Aiden by moto’s end. Although bummed that he finished second in this particular race, his demeanor quickly changed when remembering that he’d won the championship! He received all types of congratulations, and right- fully so!
