The 125 C division offered novice riders a chance to adjust to the overall handling of a “big bike” all the while keeping the power output in a relatively safe distinction, via the 125 2-stroke. A brilliant idea by all parties involved, there were many who were eager to assert themselves as the fastest in this division, and Jeffrey Chambers was one of them. The first moto of the week could have been absolutely detrimental
to the number 29, as he crossed the line in 27th to begin the week. But as we all know, you can’t teach heart, and man did he present a gladiator-esque attitude, fighting all the way through the field, to an outstanding seventh place by moto’s end. He would have quite a bit of work to do, but he was willing to complete the task at hand. With moto number two taking stage, he again had a rather unpleasant start, although this time it was a bit better than last; a 14th was what he registered on lap one. Fighting into the top five near the halfway point, the flatlanding of singles, eye-catching rhythm through the ten commandments, and scrubbing of every jump in sight would pay off, resulting in a
