fourth place for the second go around. On the outside looking in, everyone’s scores were sporadic in this field; it was now a question of who could stay focused for the third moto. You have to give this guy some credit, as he again charged from 20th at the green flag, into the top ten, and wasn’t stopping there. A jaw-dropping fourth by lap three, he was really beginning to gel with his machine, pushing the Husqvarna to its absolute limit. He would work his way into second, just behind Cade Matherly; he would finish here, placing himself upon the box. It was then, that he sat under the protest tent, and would be declared national championship. A wave of chills rushed through his body; he’d done it, all of the effort had blossomed to this fruition. It was his for the taking, and his title forever.
