By moto’s end, he’d taken the lead, grabbing a gold medal on the podium. His pre-race visualization had him securing this title. Within his mindset, this championship was his to lose. An early lead had him just where he needed to be, when suddenly, Thrasher worked his way around.This was a battle for pride, forget the championship, he wanted the win here and now. But his mechanic was relaying to him, to slow down, and be smart. He obeyed, against his will, relinquishing the reign for good to Thrasher. As the last lap came to a close, he could hardly control his excitement. The hands were in the air, battle cry’s ringing out, he crossed the finish line as champion.
