KILPATRICK
posed, although the pressure of Halpain was a direct threat to his title aspirations. He seemed to be full of maturity and tranquil- ity, all the way up until the closing moments. He’d done it again, an unfortunate error on the last lap, caused Falk to consequent- ly relinquish the lead to Halpain. Halpain, running an ultra strong performance in his own right, would take the opportunity in stride. A crafty tactician in his own right, Halpain was doing every jump and rhythm combination on the track with ease. Pushing forward, launching into the stratosphere with no intention of coming down. All that airtime and forceful aggression, would pay dividends though, as Halpain had done it, launching off the finish line table full of excitement. Both he, his mechanic, and all of his team, were gleaming from ear to ear immediately after the race had concluded. It was well deserved, and something he could build off of for the rest of the week, as he would be up for a challenge in every class he chose to embark on.
