Pamart would come across third. Ferry, would again play host as the instructor for moto number two, with his all too familiar coun- terpart in second. Red Dog, was showing his true colors, with the amount of fiery aggression he possessed on each lap. His son, watching from the sidelines, truly began to see his dad in his element. He had the fans on their feet, even standing up on the tops of motorhomes and bleachers, as they tried to scribe notes from his exceptional technique. John Grewe, a master in his own right, was doing all he could to remain within striking distance of Ferry. However, the pace couldn’t be matched, and Ferry began to have relapses, of his days within the stadiums. He’d done this before, time and time again, in front of thousands. Yet this victory tasted just as sweet as them all. The number 15, once upon the stand, gave thanks to all in attendance for the amount of praise and hand- shakes he received once crossing the finish line. A true great in all facets, humble in both victory and defeat.
