him on, there seemed
to be a certain urgency in his voice of chant- ing. The number 713
of Mason Raynor was coming, and Perdue had to get on the gas, oth- erwise the victory would be swept right from under him. He would be attentative, listening to the words of his team, and scramble his way to victory. It was imminent he do so, as Raynor would come from 13th, to an astounding sec- ond, posting the fastest laptime in the process. Following trouble in an- other one of his classes, Carpenter looked to come out of the starting line in this bracket, with his guns blazing. A quick one, two, out of the canister, and he found himself in fourth, looking to work his way around this stacked field. It was Dennis, out front, lead- ing the way, with Cam- den in the midst, and Richards working his way through the field. The number 710 of Car- penter, lurked beneath the shadows, like a green beret in the midst of his camouflage cover. He crept into second, until the last lap, when the number 930 of Seth Dennis, unfortunately made a mistake. And as any true soldier would, he capitalized on the injured prey, making the pass stick, and pranc- ing back to the finish line with his prize of the number one title.
