one last time, the run- ning order would be Allen, Malcolm, Bennick, Fineis, and Cochran. For the second gate drop, it was Allen taking reign on the field, and dictating the pace early on. He acted as em- peror, telling each and every other competitor, how fast they must go, in order to keep up, or dethrone him from the top step. He would ask, lap after lap, and there wouldn’t be a response from anyone in the field. Many in attendance noticed his technique through the rather large, left hand sweeper, prior to the finish line. He
was noticeably stand- ing up and charging, multiple yards further than anyone else in the field. It was instances like these, which would propel him, and al-
low him to sustain the distance each and every go around. And by the end of the moto, his work from all previous training, was rewarded, with a golden medal- lion. Carter Malcolm, although never letting him go completely, was having his hands full with Brandon Shaw; meanwhile, letting Allen carry the victory away in the process. The num- ber one plate was his to keep, and he rode back to his pit with the head held high; he’d done it, everything he worked for, molded into that solid piece of hardware.
