With Thanksgiving upon us, many are hear to give thanks for the fellow friends and family members, concentrated together, doing the thing they love; racing motorcycle. And although the holiday is about joy, and being festive, there are certain competitors, particularly those in the 65cc (10-11) year old class, who are as hungry as ever, although not for the normal turkey and fixings. These young men are craving a title, and that oh so special gold medallion. Some are willing to do whatever, and take any risk needed, in order to be crowned champion. The bar was set early on in practice, as each competitor was simply trying to outdo each other with lowered times. It would translate into the first moto, as Mark Fineis took an early lead, with Collin Allen, Carter Malcolm, Daxton Bennick, and Casey Cochran rounding out the top five. The top four would act as a card deck, shuffling with every lap, never settling for being stagnant.
