DAXTON BENNICK
To win a championship, one must be headstrong, resilient, and consistent. Not easily broken, and persistent in their quest for a champi- onship. The will of a champion can be tested when times are tough, and it seems as though all odds are against them. Those who aren’t capable, seem to crumble, and shy away from the biggest of stages like these. However there are those who thrive, and feel as though they can rise to any occasion, such as the top contenders in the 65 (10-11) Limited Division. To begin the first moto, Daxton Bennick came out with authority, pushing the field as though he was the shepherd to their flock. Forcing the field to elevate, riders like Carter Malcolm, and Brandon Shaw were trying so diligently to catch Bennick, yet they just couldn’t muster up the strength to put them over the edge. Bennick running superb out front, continued in the lead, setting the fastest lap on the next to final lap. He would go on to win the moto, giving him the confidence he needed for a championship run. Carter Malcolm would finish second, and Brandon Shaw third.
