In stark contrast to his teammate Justin Barcia, Filthy Phil has been working hard to simply have a factory ride. Known as Fillin Phil during the Supercross season, you know Nicoletti has had the dream of a factory contract carrot dangled in front of him. Barcia has recently commented that he feels bad being paid so much for results less than he and the team expects. I wonder of Phil feels about that. It is the dream of so many riders to have that factory slot, few get the chance to flirt with it on and off before getting a full chance. Nicoletti has shown that he belongs in the top tier of riders, we shall see if he’s meant to remain there.
