Not a great start for Justin at the Wick. First moto, Barcia got a great look at the sand, unfortunately from under a pile of other riders in the first turn. He was able to remount and surf on up to third. Which is nuts, and quite the charge. On perhaps the gnarliest track on the circuit. Second moto proved to be a lot better for the fan favorite. A decent start found him in fifth the first lap, after which he showed his old self, squaring up the front tire of Musquin. Nothing like watching a rider with something to proove. Barcia was able to keep charging forward, overtaking Pourcel for third, putting him on the overall podium for the day. Going 63
