COLE MARTINEZ
The name Martinez is a surname, coming from the Latin word “Martinus,” derived from the word
“Mars.” Although originating in Spanish culture, it’s based off the Roman God of fertility and war; a figure that Cole Marti- nez looks to symbolize and resemble when cast amongst his crowd of competitors. With a taller frame than most, Martinez has chosen to compete in the 450 division for the outdoor circuit. His stature, along with the cheaper costs to compete on the larger of the two machines, has showcased his talents well, as each week he’s steadily improving and continuing to gain points. Look for Cole to once again be in the top twenty for the Southwick round.
