SCOTT CHAMPION
Scott Champion is in his sixth year of competition in the 250 SX West Coast series. Now considered a
veteran in the class, Champion has remained very consistent throughout his career. He is always battling inside the top fifteen during the main events. He rarely finishes outside that fifteenth position but he has been able to surpass it and finish inside the top ten a handful of times. So far this season, the local Californian rider has yet to finish inside that top ten but he has come close multiple times. Champion has made waves and gets his fair share of TV time due to his ability to get out and grab holeshots and mix it up with the top riders. We have seen him put together some impressive rides in heat races throughout his career and a few times already this season. Unfortunately for him, he has not been able to repeat similar performances for the main events but you have to think that he will be able to put all the pieces together before the season wraps up. He certainly has the ability and all he needs is a great start and you will be seeing the Barn Pros Racing/Home Depot Yamaha fighting for that coveted top ten finish.
