WESTON PEICK
Weston Peick has strug- gled for a better part of the season. The Autotrader/ Monster Energy Yamaha rider has only cracked the top 10 three times this season. His speed and aggression has been there and hasn’t waivered from his usual performances it has just been bad luck and crashes in the main events that have done him in. He has been very competi- tive in the heat races and semis grabbing his fair share of wins in each but he just hasn’t been able
to stay consistent when
the points are on the line.
But Peick seems to have broken his spell of bad
luck before the break when
he grabbed an 8th place
in Toronto and a 7th place
in Detroit. He looks to be
back into his usual form
as those are the kind of finishes we expected from >> Peick before the season began. We knew he is ca- pable of mixing it up inside that top ten and it took
awhile for him to gain that form but he found it just
in time to finish the sea-
son out strong. Look for
Peick to come into Santa Clara fresh and ready to extend his streak of top ten finishes.
