JUSTIN BOGLE
Justin Bogle’s rookie campaign in the 450 class has been stunted by unfortunate injuries. The flashy rider from Oklahoma suffered an injury early in the series resulting in him missing several rounds. He reentered the series for the second round of San Diego and initially
struggled. The 450 field this year is one of the most competitive in recent memory with factory talent in the top fifteen riders during the mains week in and week out. That made coming back from injury much tougher for Bogle as everyone else had found his rhythm while he was just getting started. But a few rounds after he returned, he looks to have caught up with everyone else and found his own rhythm. He went into the break with three out of four top eleven finishes. Some of those finishes could have been much better but small crashes and bobbles in the main events plagued him. He has been getting good starts which have certainly helped his cause and if he can put together a clean main event we could be seeing Bogle finish deeper inside the top ten for the remainder of the season. The rookie surely used the break to his advantage and will look to come out in his best form all season in Santa Clara.
