My Journey to My Home
First thing Sunday morning, Sept.2, 2018 I’m on the road to a
new life and another long journey, but it is the trip that any
stray hopes & prays for because at the other end my furever
home & family is waiting excitedly for me!!
From half hour north of Sault Ste Marie I rode with Grace
Dempsey, one of Gentle Jake’s foster volunteers, all the way
to Sudbury where we meet Riian Cameron who will take me
to Jean Stone in North Bay, and Jean will take me to meet
Alex & Amanda in Orillia. They must REALLY love me (and
they haven’t even met me yet!) because they are driving
over 3 hrs each way to pick me up & bring me HOME!
I am so excited !! but a little scared too… because what if it’s
not real?? Oh, I can’t even think that… I just have to learn a
bunch of stuff again… like which door you go out when you
have to pee, and what time you eat, and what time we go
for WALKS!!
