Mr. Sanjeev Rana, Pradhan Gram Panchayat AIMA,
Palampur put his massage to gathering through video

conferencing. He told that a few year ago the garbage
problems in AIMA Panchayat was a big issue. He shares his

experience and told how he committed to AIMA garbage
free. The commitment was big one and solution was

challenging. I accept and took initiative by launching
various awareness campaign. The local community were

aware to cause-effect of garbage. They were aware that
heaps of garbage not only effecting scenic beauty of the

Panchayat but also it has adverse effect on human health.
He told that due to his efforts and collaborated approach of

peoples now AIMA is garbage free. We have eco-friendly
vehicle which collect garbage from door to door. After that

we have garbage treatment plant. Mr. Rana said, Govt. of
Himachal directed 300 Panchayats to follow the model of

AIMA. Mr. Rana advice the gathering to come forward so
that Swachh Bharat Mission could be implemented

successfully.
