 Dr. Paras Sharma, Principal Vijay Memorial College of
Education, Distt Mandi told that it was a remarkable

programme. All worthy speakers disseminate their
research very well. He said that the recommendations
suggested by speakers if implemented may be a great
step to solve environmental problems.

 Dr. Ram Krishan, Lecturer Govt. Senior Secondary
School Kharahal attend workshop with 4-students

along with one teacher and express that this was a
successful event organized by in systematic way as
per schedule. He said the Kullu is known for its
tourism. The environmental degradation may

hamper Kullu tourist activities.

appreciate the efforts of SFD and stress that such
types of seminar should be organize time to time.
 Local representatives said that we should take
initiative to solve environmental issues. One of said

that workshop conducted under theme “Emerging
Environmental Issues in Mountain States” Was

closely concerned to the society and it was a great
effort of the SFD convenor.
 Students from different schools share their views and
express that it was a nice experience and they have

never attended earlier. What they learn through
books about environment, hardly attract their
attention. Everyone calling climate has been change,

one should protect our environment. After this
workshop we realise the problems and come to
understand what are different processes responsible

for that change.
