Several People Injured After Man Hides Explosives Under Toilet Seats In Restrooms

SAN ANTONIO (KENS) - Three people were injured in Texas after they used bathrooms that had explosives hidden under the toilet seats.
It happened last month at two car washes in San Antonio.
Police said Paul Moses Alden booby-trapped the toilet seats with commercial fire- works that are designed to
explode when pressure is applied.
He is now facing a charge of arson with bodily injury.
Security camera footage showed Alden entering and leaving the bathrooms, watching the bathrooms from the lobby and leaving after the explosions.
A customer, an employee and a child sustained minor injuries after they sat
down on the toilet seats.
Employees told police that they identified Alden because he is a regular customer who uses a mem- bership card.
He was arrested and released from jail on a $50,000 bond.
A court date has not been set for Alden’s next hear- ing.
The investigation is still ongoing.
