Training and orientation:
In different states refresher training were conducted to locali�es surveillance officers and facili�es
focal points.
The program oriented doctors and medical staff in most of pediatrics and other related hospitals
about AFP case defini�on and surveillance system.
On the job training during the mee�ng for state surveillance officers and na�onal medical officers
was also carried out.
IEC material, newsle�er and working forms:
Four issues of quarterly newsle�er (Sharh) were produced electronically, Electronic copies of each
distributed �mely to partners and lower level as feedback according to our e-mailing list.
The country program revised, print and distributed na�onal AFP surveillance guideline, AFP differ-
en�al diagnosis, poster, and other IEC materials and ensured �mely distribu�on to all states
