Page 12 - GM-Don't Bee Angry

One of the strangest things I saw these Anger Bees do is talk bad about each other’s mother. All day long I could hear them saying, “Your mother this” or “Your mother that.” And boy would they get angry. As soon as one would say, “Your Mother”... the fight was on.
I know of no other animal or insect that has this behavior. It was almost as if they wanted each other to get angry.
But what makes this behavior really strange is something that you may already know. All of the bees in a hive have the same mother. So if one says something bad about another’s mother, he is really saying the same thing about his own mother. But I noticed that this did not seem to matter. They just kept on with this behavior even if it made no sense at all.
But there were also some sad things that happened because of all this anger. I noticed that some of the Anger Bees would walk all crooked and fall down a lot. When they would try and fly, they would fly in circles and run into things. They did not seem as angry as the rest of the hive but they looked kind of goofy.
I kept hearing the other bees talk about eating the sour honey. These Sour Honey Anger Bees were not angry but they were kind of stupid. In fact, if I were an insect eating bird, these guys would be on my menu.
