Page 5 - Timmy Timeout
P. 5
We usually have to go sit on a branch in another tree, away from everybody else or maybe a good way down the telephone line. And it is a rule that the rest of us can’t talk or even look at Timmy Timeout.
Now you humans need to understand that our Crow teacher or parent is not trying to make the “Timmy Timeout” crow feel bad. They are just giving them an opportunity to think about what was going on when it was necessary to have them go to “Time Out”.
I know that you humans have heard us Crows cawing and making all kind of noise but sometimes we should be quiet. When one of us does not follow the directions to be quite, then he or she is disturbing others or making it difficult for others to learn the lesson being taught.
Then they become a Timmy Timeout. Occasionally, one of us will be disrespectful or hurtful to others and we immediately become a Timmy Timeout. It is one of the ways our adult Crows teach us how to succeed and be better birds.
