As the year progressed, on-campus restrictions eased. The Primary campus celebrated our student's learning by holding annual community events like the Grade 5 Exhibition Showcase (PYPx), The SIS Primary Arts Festival, and the Grade 5 Moving Up ceremony. Candlelight recitals and Digital Concert performances showcased our students' talents. We continued to have our primary school assemblies virtually and maintained community-building traditions like the "Golden Sneaker" award and grade level
presentations of their PYP Unit of Inquiry. In May, we welcomed award-winning author, illustrator, and entrepreneur, Trevor Lai, to visit classes PreK through Grade 5.
The 2020-2021 primary school year proved to be a year of resilience and perseverance. Our caring staff provided an excellent and engaging academic program while supporting students' social and emotional needs.
