Admissions
For the 2020-21 school year, we have experienced a decrease in the number of applications. At the end of March 2021, we were 33% below the prior year in the number of applications. However, by the end of April, the gap had narrowed to 26% below the preceding year. As families recognize the border situation may not change before August, families that had adopted a wait-and-see stance are now looking for schools. "Despite the challenges of the past 18 months, there have been many positive changes in the Admissions department which we plan to carry forward. Learning about our school and our programs is now accessible to everyone, regardless of where they are in the world, even Shenzhen, due to our online open days. We have also introduced online testing for students in
most grades. These two additions make it easier for families to go through the admissions process and help to maintain an international student base."
