COMPLAINT PROCEDURE
No employee is required to tolerate harassment. If you
feel that you have been harassed or retaliated against in
violation of this policy, you are expected to report the
conduct to your Human Resources Representative or
Tegra’s Corporate Compliance Hotline. Promptly after
learning of such alleged conduct, Tegra will conduct an
investigation for the purpose of determining whether
prohibited harassment has occurred. Efforts will be made
to ensure confidentiality to the extent consistent with the
goal of conducting an appropriate investigation. Employees
who initiate or participate in such investigations in good
faith will be protected against work-related retaliation. If
an investigation confirms the allegations, Tegra will take
prompt corrective action, which may include discipline, up
to and including discharge.
CONSENSUAL RELATIONSHIPS
All employees at Tegra and its subsidiaries are expected
to conduct themselves in a manner which promotes a
professional business and employment environment.
Due to the inherently unequal relationship that exists
between certain individuals, including supervisors
and their subordinates, dating or other intimate social
relationships can be problematic. Such relationships can
easily degenerate into allegations of sexual harassment and
expose employees and Tegra to potential legal problems.
In addition, the real or perceived problem of favoritism
can have negative and far-reaching consequences and
can seriously affect the management process as well as
undermine the reputation of Tegra and its subsidiaries. In
order to avoid these potential problems, romantic, intimate,
or sexual relationships between employees and their
supervisors in a direct reporting relationship are prohibited.
In addition, any supervisor, manager, executive or other
company official in a sensitive or influential position with
Tegra must disclose the existence of a romantic or sexual
relationship with another co-worker. Disclosure should be
made to the Director of Human Resources. Tegra will review
the circumstances to determine whether any conflict of
interest exists.
