Overview:

• Facilitated dialogue to explore the regulations around transition, and

the required role of middle school and high school principals, CSE

Chairpersons and school counselors in supporting the implementation
of district wide transition planning. Examine existing practices for

transition assessment, IEP development, and exiting options.

Outcomes:

• Identify the NYSED requirements for transition

• Design systems to implement mandated transition components

• Supervise and support staff in writing and instructing the transition IEP
