                     Overview:



                     • This session will model and explain each component of the Continuum of

                         Special Education per NYSED Regulations. Katie and Jess will model and
                         explain the purpose of each of the following: Indirect Consultant Teacher,

                         Direct Consultant Teacher, Resource Room, Special Class, and Integrated Co-
                         Teaching as they relate to Least Restrictive Environment (LRE).



                     Outcomes:




                     • School personnel will understand the regulations for each service and have a
                         clear understanding of each person’s role throughout the Continuum of

                         Special Education.



                            Please try to attend in grade level teams or teams of general

                                                    education and special education teams
