After SHS I graduated from Simmons College, then received my Masters in Social Work from the U. of Chicago. I met my husband while living in Chicago and in 1976 we moved to New Jersey for his business.
We raised 3 children, 2 sons and a daughter. My youngest son is getting married in September. My other 2 children are married and have given me 3wonderful grandchildren.
I have dedicated my professional career to the Jewish Communal Field and have worked at a variety of social work jobs. I am now the Director of Programs and Services for the Jewish Family and Children's Service of Monmouth County, NJ., and have been there for 26 years. I also have a private psychotherapy practice.
I was married for 35 years when my husband passed away, in 2012. I t has been a long road for me to rebuild my life. I love to travel and have been on some truly amazing locations. Last year I went to China and Tibet as well as Africa on safari. A few years ago I moved to a 55+ community which is a great life style. I actually have taken up golf ! A l l in all, I feel blessed with the path my life has taken me.
