I relocated to the beautiful Pacific Northwest in 1971 as an exchange student. Beginning in Portland, OR, I moved to Seattle in 1976 for a Master Degree program in Social Work at the University of Washington.
I remained in Seattle permanently. Meeting my husband in 1986 began my family life journey, raising our two great children. While my kids were young, I spent 5 years working and completing my Master Degree in Public Administration. I worked in that field as a policy analyst for 7 years, eventually returning to work in Mental Health.
In 2015, I retired from a lengthy career in Social Work and a Private Psychotherapy practice. My volunteer activities, games and outings with friends, traveling to scenic and interesting places near and far, and visiting my kids wherever they may be living, fill my time.
We hope to go on a safari in Africa in the next 1-2 years, which is on our bucket list!
