4.2.2 Findings
This analysis, if verified as reliable data, shows that the oldest cranes first deployed in 2001, have, based on design cycles, still nearly 1.1 million cycles of life remaining.
The younger cranes have a remaining design life ranging from, 1.4 to 1.6 million cycles
This by no means, suggests that, the above remaining cycles when completed, would be the end of the life of these cranes, which could well be extended by conducting a thorough assessment, in compliance with the relevant ISO or local Standard.
