4.2.3 Crane Meter Data Example
a) The picture below of Crane #L meter reading, shows 233,126 moves.
b) Data extracted from the PLC shows a reading of 51,714 moves.
c) Not only are both data sources different, but clearly this crane has completed significantly more moves than either of the above data sources.
d) One can surmise and conclude that the PLC may have been re-programmed/ reset on one or more occasion, and that the twistlock counter may have been replaced on one or more occasion also.
e) No other records were available to prove or disprove exactly what moves the crane has completed throughout its life.
f) This level and quality of data integrity is representative of what was witnessed across the board in KFTL during our due diligence works.
