The red circle highlights a potential financial risk within 10 years’ time, especially if QC’s O/ P/ Q & R perform above average moves, compared to estimates made here. This could well mean, that more than 50% of KFTL QC’s will become ‘life expired’ by design. Planning today to spread workload/ utilisation and manage ageing etc., will ensure a more balanced financial exposure when it comes to crane replacement or extension of life etc.
