Bomb Threats . . . What Do We Do?

This workshop will examine firefighter, EMS and police response to bomb threats in your Cliff McFarland, Chief of Training
community. Examples of “best practices” will be examined, along with pre-planning and actual (Retired), West Des Moines Fire
events, stressing pre-event coordination between responders and facility personnel. A brief Department, and FSTB Field Instructor
introduction to explosives recognition and improvised explosive device detection will be included.
This workshop provides information on

is the emergency response to anhydrous
ammonia emergencies.
