The IP‐EMH Multi‐function entertainment handset provides comprehensive Nurse Call, VoIP intercom, TV controls
with sound, entertainment and environmental controls. Designed to fit comfortably in the patients hand or lay on
the pillow, the integrated TV sound and intercom provides ease of conversation with the patient and minimizes TV
volume in the room. Nurse assist provides resource savings in calling the right staff for the task.
             Clear Two‐way Audio Communication

The IP‐EMH incorporates a microphone and speaker that provide both full‐duplex audio communication via a SIP
             VoIP exchange.

A patient speech point on the pillow offers many benefits for both staff and patients. Knowing the patients’ needs
before walking to the patient’s room, saves staff valuable time.
When a patient/resident activates a nurse call request, a message is immediately dispatched to the appropriate
pager, SMS or wireless phone, inclusive of the resident’s details and telephone extension, allowing staff to contact
the patient directly from their smart device or wireless phone.

Audio at the bedside increases your patients’ safety as staff will be able to hear immediately if a patient is at risk,
has fallen or non‐responsive. This allows staff to take appropriate action immediately, saving precious time in an
             emergency.
The design fits comfortably in your patient’s hand with back‐lit buttons to assist sight impaired patients, especially
at night in low‐light conditions. It also incorporates a lifetime LED torch in the body of the handset.

The handset’s flush soft touch keyboard is ergonomically designed for left or right handed use. The buttons have
clearly defined icons and colours to ensure ease of understanding and use. A large linen clip‐on cable ensures that
the handset does not slip off the bed. Handset‐removal alarm ensures that the handset is not inadvertently
unplugged. The inline cord saver allows the handset to disconnect easily without damaging wall connectors,
             monitors, or pendants.
