Five Nurse Call Functions
The handset has five different Nurse Call icons which include patient call, pain assistance, cleaning required, drink
requested and toilet assistance. These requests are routed as specific messages to the right care staff so the nurses
and staff knows exactly what help the patient requires before they visit a room.
Improved Infection Control
The handset’s smooth shape allows for quick and easy cleaning and helps to prevent contaminants from collecting
on the unit. The handset is manufactured to be dip sterilisable and incorporates antimicrobial materials for
increased infection control. It includes an Ingress Protection Rating of IP54 as defined by 60529 standard.
Environmental Room Control
Four environmental control buttons allow the patient to self‐ select the room environment without calling for a
nurse. They can control room lights and a bed reading lamp, as well as buttons to control electronic window blinds.
TV/Entertainment Controls
The TV and Entertainment controls allow patients to control the entertainment simply, without need for other
remotes. TV sound is delivered to the handset speaker allowing for reduced sound level in the room. Patients are
able to adjust sound level and mute for comfort. TV control is provided from a Patient Station as either Infrared or
Ethernet messaged.
