AlL Tiving organisms are made up of cells. The information req uired

for running the cell is inherited from its parent cell. In
cells,
many
this information is kept in a molecule called DNA, inside a

compartment c lled nucleus. . The long DNA molecules are wound

aroundd proteins in a bundle. These bundles, called chromosomes

are visible in some cells after staining.
