BIODATA:
Prof. Datuk Dr. John Antony Xavier was a career civil servant for 36 years with the Malaysian government as an
administra ve and diploma c officer. He served in various management capaci es in ministries and
departments including the Inland Revenue Department, Ministry of Interna onal Trade and Industry, Ministry of
Science, Technology and Environment, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Primary Industries, Ministry of Finance,
the Na onal Ins tute of Public Administra on and the Public Service Department. As an academic he has
researched and published over 30 refereed ar cles on public-management reform including performance
management and the Blue Ocean Strategy. He teaches corporate strategy and public policy. He has also authored

six books on law, compe veness and public management and co-authored book chapters.

Prof. Datuk Seri Dr. Md Zabid Haji Abdul Rashid is the current Execu ve Director of Think Data Sdn Bhd. Besides
that, he also currently serves as Chairman of Koperasi Profesional Wilayah Berhad (KoProw), Covers Interna onal
Berhad, Director of the Bizald Technologies Sdn Bhd and several NGOs including Yayasan Pendidikan Tun Abdul
Razak (PINTAR), Yayasan Cemerlang, Vice President of the One Belt One Road Associa on Malaysia, Immediate
past Chairman of the Chartered Management Ins tute Malaysia Board, and Member of the Melaka State
Eonomic Ac on Council and the Melaka Starte Digital Council. He has more than 40 years' experience in various
posi ons in large corpora ons and has received many professional recogni ons and awards for his contribu ons.
