CONTINUOUS TENSE, YOU HAVE
TO ADD "BEEN".
Present perfect continuous tense is used for an activity that
started in the past and is continued to the present.
singular noun + has + been + continuous verb
plural noun + have + been + continuous verb
She has been sleeping all
morning. ( She is still
sleeping )
I have been working the
whole day. ( I am still
working)
Present perfect continuous tense is also used for since
and for statements.
1) I have been writing this letter for hours. ( I am still writing )
2) Aunt Lisa has been crying since last night. ( She is still crying )
