Indefinite article
" A, An "
Refers to any one person, animal or thing.
Means one.
Used before singular and countable noun and
not with a plural or uncountable noun.
"A" = used with nouns that begin with a
consonant sound.
"An" = used with nouns that begin with a
vowel sound (a,e,i,o,u) and nouns that begin
with a silent "h".
