Dance

This year began with a vibrant performance by our
dance companies at the Wells Food Festival – an
exciting opportunity for our dancers to showcase
their talent within the local community. Our
attention then turned to the senior production
of Beauty and the Beast, where both dance
companies took part in bringing the show to life.
It’s always inspiring to see so many pupils come
together to celebrate the performing arts.

Throughout the year, attendance in our ballet
and contemporary classes remained strong, with
pupils continuously developing their technical
skills and movement memory. We are incredibly
proud of those who sat their ballet exams this year,
achieving outstanding results.

In the summer term, our Year 6 pupils explored
global dance styles in their performance, which
was beautifully captured on film – a fitting end to a
dynamic and creative year. 02
